As one of the premier lead generation companies, please help us understand the current scenario in the lead generation sector. How has it changed in recent times?
Of course, with the Covid-19 pandemic, many small businesses are struggling to stay afloat. Changing buyer behaviors, cash flow crisis, employee shortage just to name a few. However, with these challenges in the marketplace, we have seen an upward trend in those businesses that need more new customers now more than ever. In fact, the demand from small businesses needing our leads has grown rapidly over the past year.
What inspired you to establish OnCore Leads? Since the inception of the company, have you been able to achieve your initial goal? Also, what all changes are there in the company since it was established?
OnCore Leads was established to offer a risk free way for small business owners to gain new leads for their businesses. Historically, businesses had to spend money on untested and, many times, poor advertising options that produce little to no results. We changed that business model. OnCore Leads assumes the risk in generating leads for our clients. If we don’t supply our customers with leads, they don’t pay us. It is that easy. In fact, we even simplified the process more: our clients simply “order” the number of leads they would like to receive and then we deliver those leads to them over the period of time they would like. This is better known as pay for performance advertising.

You have listed numerous lead services on your website. Please help us understand how it works? Also, which were the initial lead services with which OnCore Leads started, are they still included in your service offerings?
We started OnCore Leads as a “one trick pony.” We began with one television commercial helping to generate leads for tax attorneys. Our reputation grew so rapidly that those tax attorneys wanted us to generate leads for them in other legal categories such as bankruptcy, auto accidents, personal injury, workers compensation, social security disability, criminal defense/DUI and employment law. Morever, we perfected the art and science of lead generation and are quickly expanding into the home service industry including roofing, window repair, solar, painting and plumbing lead generation industry.
In a lead generation business, it is important to understand the clients’ requirements. How have the clients’ requirements changed over the years? Do you think that OnCore Leads is able to meet the current requirements of the clientele? If yes, how?
Small business owners are increasingly becoming more sophisticated with their advertising which is great. This allows us to take advantage of the myriad of advertising opportunities that current technology allows. In fact, our clients want to test new lead generation methods as they know that competition is fierce especially in the face of a post Covid-19 world.
What are the different issues/challenges OnCore Leads has faced in recent times? How did you tackle these challenges?
We do see “competition” from other agencies and from small businesses themselves. However, we like to approach it differently--we don’t see it as competition but more as opportunities. We stay abreast of what’s happening dynamically in the advertising industry. We leverage what others are doing so we can generate the best converting leads to our clients. We spend our own money to generate leads so our clients don’t have to. They never risk their own money generating leads. We assume the risk.
There are several occasions where the client has a tight budget. What process do you undertake in such situations? Do you offer them a customized service? If yes, could you elaborate the process?
We understand that every client has a budget. Of course, some clients have substantially larger budgets than others. However, that does not impact the quality of service or leads we supply all our clients. As one of the leading lead generation agencies in the country, we have perfected the process that we can work with both large and small clients regardless of budget. Whether the company is a Fortune 500 business or a sole proprietor, we can supply them with the leads.
Since the advent of COVID-19, what were the additions/improvements to the service portfolio or offerings of OnCore Leads?
Covid-19 really hurt some of our clients in specific industries. Internally, we worked extremely hard to accommodate their business needs. Some clients were shut down by their local government so we had to pause their flow of leads. Other clients were allowed to remain open and wanted to purchase more leads. We learned how important it is to remain flexible and nimble to adjust to our clients’ lead generation needs.
