UNT Dallas Introduces New Cybersecurity Program

The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) has decided to offer a new Bachelor of Arts degree in Cybersecurity starting from the academic year 2026-2027. The program will equip the students with skills to join one of the most rapidly developing professions. The program will begin from August 24, 2026.

According to university officials, the introduction of this degree course is a reaction to the ever-growing need for people in the field of cybersecurity. Due to the increase in cyberattacks in the current business environment, there is a need for personnel that can help secure networks and systems.
