Danielle King Recognized for Building a Trusted Skincare Business

Danielle King, creator of the skincare company Skinmuvaa that is based in Rochester, has been chosen to receive the award of Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year by the New York Small Business Development Center (NYSBDC). This is an honor bestowed upon her due to her transition from being a member of the United States Army to becoming the entrepreneur behind a profitable skincare company. She will receive the award at the 2026 Annual Client Awards Roadshow by the NYSBDC.

Military Service Inspired a New Career

The journey of King to becoming an entrepreneur started after her stint in the military. Utilizing her experience in the health care field, King founded Skinmuvaa with the objective of assisting her clients in enhancing the health of their skin through scientific and ethical treatment. Her business focuses more on education, customization, and sustainable skin care rather than providing quick cosmetic results.

With time, Skinmuvaa has become known for offering quality services in Rochester. King is also working towards expanding her business with another venture by the name of Temple Wellness by Skinmuvaa.

Entrepreneurs who have been successful with the help of SBDC are recognized annually at the Client Awards Roadshow.
