Autodesk Unveils a New Initiative for Small Businesses
Autodesk is now offering Autodesk for Small Business, a new worldwide initiative that seeks to assist small businesses, freelancers, and growing teams in the Design and Make industries. This initiative seeks to help them gain easier access to the software of Autodesk, purchase options, and pricing that will suit their requirements better.
This comes as a result of the findings in the new State of Small Business report by Autodesk that reveals how businesses operating in the Design and Make industries are growing nearly 35% faster compared to other small businesses. It also reveals an increasing trend among professionals who opt for independent career opportunities since a third of all professionals are now either working independently or as contractors. More than one in five professionals is thinking about forming their own businesses this year.
Addressing the Challenges Small Teams Face
Despite the fact that small businesses keep growing, the problem with limited resources remains relevant. In particular, according to the research conducted by Autodesk, 80% of small business owners find it difficult to cope with running their own business while working on projects. Entrepreneurs usually have to perform all business activities, interact with clients and do the design work simultaneously, which makes efficient performance the key objective.
According to Autodesk, the new program was designed to make the above-mentioned task easier to solve by offering easier access to the company’s technologies.
New Hub, Flexible Access, and Special Pricing
In addition to the above, Autodesk has created an Autodesk for Small Business web portal which contains products and information aimed at helping smaller businesses.
The other part of this program involves enhanced flexibility via Autodesk Flex and additional pricing deals for Small Business Month. According to Autodesk, these measures were taken to provide businesses with more flexibility regarding how they use Autodesk products.
Autodesk noted that Autodesk for Small Business is just the first step in Autodesk’s plan to deliver solutions aimed at small businesses.
Supporting the Future of Design and Make
Autodesk thinks that small business organizations are becoming one of the leading innovators in the field of architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and media industries. The creation of Autodesk for Small Business by Autodesk aims to break down the obstacles that are normally placed before smaller groups when it comes to using professional design software.
Using the platform specifically made for small businesses, together with the choice of how to buy it and its affordable pricing, Autodesk is going to provide entrepreneurs and independent professionals with competitive advantage and assist them in business growth.
