Samsung's next Unpacked event to take place on August 10th

The Executive Headlines

Samsung will be organizing its Unpacked live stream on August 10th. Expectations are really high regarding the program. About the announcement of the event by Samsung, Engadget reported, "It looks like our slow gadget summer is about to end, with Samsung ready to launch its next slate of products soon. The company today sent out invites to its next Unpacked event (after sharing a teaser puzzle this morning), which is set for August 10th at 9am ET. The keynote will be streamed online via Samsung's website, and there will be no in-person component. If you are dying to get ahead of other shoppers, you can already sign up to reserve the upcoming products, too."

New devices

In past events the company has introduced some new devices. The new devices are new foldable phones, smartwatches and earbuds. Two phones were released, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Apart from that two smartwatches were launched, Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic. Galaxy Buds 2 was also released.

Along with the streaming from Samsung’s website, people can watch it from the brand’s YouTube channel.

Design of Galaxy Z Fold 3

Engadget last year in an article talked about the phone, "despite gaining 0.4mm when unfolded, the Fold 3 is actually 0.8mm thinner than the Fold 2 when closed. It appears Samsung might have been able to reduce the gap between the two halves of the screen when it refined its hinge mechanism." In a recent article about the next updated version, Galaxy Z Fold 4 said, "Galaxy Z Fold 4 will mate the series’ phone-slash-tablet formula with design elements from the S22 Ultra. You’d get Ultra-like rear camera bumps and slightly tweaked dimensions, but it would otherwise be very familiar. Not that we’d rule out functional changes. Leaker Ice Universe claims the Z Fold 4 would have less prominent display creases, for example."
